Remi, short for Remington, is a very handsome boy who knows it! Besides being a gorgeous three-year-old, he is a very nice, fairly laid-back Dane. Remi loves his daily walks, gets the zoomies no more than once a day, and relaxes the rest of the time! He is a little messy when eating – his water bowl often finds itself filled with water-logged kibble! While walking, he’ll notice other dogs but just stares at them, no barking, no aggression, which is expected since he has lived with other dogs (cats are unknown). He has also lived with small children. He has greeted visitors at his foster home very mannerly and also does not react while others walk by on his walks. With a gentle leader, he is very easy to walk, although he doesn’t quite get the hang of staying on one side while walking. He also loves lying on the porch, watching the world go by!
Since coming into MAGDRL in March 2024, he has been neutered and gastropexied, received all vaccines, and has been eating well. He is still a little thin (at 114 pounds) so needs to put some weight on. This sweet boy seems to have been lost in the shuffle of his previous family’s life so getting into a home that can nurture him will bring out the best in Remi!
